Helping Hands/Giving Hearts

The Helping Hands and Giving Hearts Society is a special group of individuals that not only give their time and service to the North Sunflower Medical Center, but they give a percentage of their annual income per pay period through payroll deduction to the North Sunflower Medical Foundation.  The Society began in October 2007 with a 100% participation pledging to contribute to the Foundation.  In order to gain potential donors’ acceptance of the Foundation, the Foundation promotes the 100% participation of the Helping Hands & Giving Hearts Society.

Memorial Garden

We recognize that there are many different levels of opportunities to fit everyone’s level of commitment. The goal of the Memorial Garden is to enhance the property and to provide an opportunity for people in the community and you as friends to become involved in the exciting things happening at North Sunflower Medical Foundation and North Sunflower Medical Center.

The Memorial Garden will not only stand as a beautiful reminder of just how far we have come and just how much we have grown as a facility, a community and a region. The Memorial Garden gives you the opportunity to recognize or memorialize a friend or loved one.  It will also establish a place of peace and healing for those suffering through the grieving process.

The Foundation is helping to pave the way to health wellness through our Memorial Garden. The Memorial Garden is placed in an area that will be preserved for future generations to enjoy on the grounds of the North Sunflower Medical Center Campus. The garden is being built through gifts of tribute. Gifts can be made in honor or memory of loved ones through the purchase of wall bricks, pavers, concrete squares, benches, lamp posts, trees, fitness trail, trellis, chapel or bell tower. Naming opportunities are available for the Memorial Garden.
